There was guys from FIN and EST aswell...
Some of estonians saw it first time and sed, that will inform and start to move Drift thing in Estonia too...

19ndal augustil toimub Lätis, Riias, Bikernieki rajal jällegi driftimisvõistlus. Hetkel on osalejate nimekirjas ainult lätlased ja leedukad kuna keegi eestlastest ei ole ennast üles andnud. Äkki Teie teate kedagi, kes tahaks osaleda või kui mitte, siis võiks ju kasvõi ainult vaatamagi minna. Nagu ma aru olen saanud, siis lätakad ootavad eestlaseid osa võtma ja kui mitte seda, siis vähemalt vaatama. Et saaks aru millega tegemist on ja et saaks aru, et tegemist on ägeda asjaga. Pilet on max 100 EEKi.

Kindlasti Reinis saaks nõu ja jõuga majutus probleemidele, abi anda.
Kahjuks ise ei saa minna, kuna tööl. Täna rääkisin Reinisega ja ta tahaks seal ikka mõnda Eestlast ka näha ( rajal, pealtvatajana). Minge käige vaadake arvan, et asi on seda väärt.

Mina läheks küll hea meelega vaatama. Kuna ürituse leht on ainult lätikeelne, siis ei saanud kahjuks aru, mis kell võistlussõidud hakkavad ja mis kellani üritus kestab.
Kui saaks ühe autotäie rahvast kokku, siis võiks ära käia küll.

Event schedule 19th August

11:00 Registration and technical control
01:00 1st participant meeting. Instructions given by main judge.
01:10 Track is opened for trainings. (participate everyone who is registered)
03:00 Cleaning of the track, if necessary
03:00 2nd participant meeting. Last instructions to answer the participant questions.
03:00 Spectators are let in.
03:30 Greeting the participants, spectators, opening of the event
03:35 Parade of the participants (one after another according to start numbers)
03:35 Lighting of drift fire
03:50 Qualification 3 drivers drive 3 rides accordingly to queue. When 3 driver groups finish, next 3 drivers group is allowed to go on track (participate everyone who is registered)
05:20 Break for judges to make start order for top16 drivers and to regroup pairs for tandem battle
05:20 Break
Stuntrider show
Show with spectators (8 spectators are raffled from tickets and they participate in go-kart race. The best 3 of them automatically can come to next shows for free)
05:50 Tandem Battle 1 (16 best drivers’ race in 8 pairs divided by judges)
Top 16 is driving in 8 pairs. Every run contains from two battles – chase and getaway. Each run takes about 4 minutes.
If results are equal, there is another „Revanche“ battle (the same 2 rides one more time)
If results still are equal, „Revanche“ battles continues each for 2 runs until one of drivers makes a mistake.
06:10 Tandem Battle 2 (8 best drivers’ race in 4 pairs divided by judges)
Top 8 is driving in 4 pairs. Start order is the same as in Tandem Battle 1
06:30 Tandem Battle Semifinal (4 best drivers’ race in 2 pairs divided by judges)
07:20 Tandem Battle Final (4 best drivers’ race in 2 pairs divided by judges)
Battle for 3rd place and battle for 1st place. 15 – 25 minutes.
07:30 Break
07:30 Prize giving ceremony. 3 final cars are put on track their drivers’ standing next to them.
07:45 „Burnout“


Spectators are informed by race commentators. The schedule of the event can be changed depending on number of participants.

10:20 – registration for Time attack (8th gate) Participation fee LVL 15.00
11:30 – 17:00 drift trainings for participants (8th gate) training fee LVL 5.00
11:00 – gates are opened for spectators and supporters (8th gate) Ticket fee LVL 3.50
24:00 – end of the after party and sleeping in tent town LVL 0.00 (for free)
* Everyone who stays for the night has a specially marked place - tent town, which everybody has to leave till 12:00, August 19th

11:00 – registration for SABI Drift Show (8th gate) Participation fee LVL 12.00
11:00 – entrance for mechanics (8th gate) Ticket fee LVL 3.50
* Max 2 mechanics for one registered participant
11:00 – registration for mechanics service car LVL 3.50
* Max 1 service car for one registered participant
14:30 – Entrance for spectators and supporters (8th and 6th gate) Ticket fee LVL 6.00

Mõned päevad veel ürituseni jäänud. Toimub seal ka selline võistlus nagu Time Attack ( iga 1 min tagant lastakse uus auto rajale) ringraja, kihutamis trangel. Kindlasti on ka BMW M seeria autosid, nii uusi kui ka vanu. (Nt : E30 M3 Evo 2). Tuleb lahe üritus minge vaatama. Telkimisvõimalus seal samas raja ääres, õhtust-hommikuni väike pidu ja hea muusika.

Mina lähen seda vaatama igatahes, hakkame homme kell 9 neljakesi läti poole põrutama. On veel keegi minemas?

olemegi tagasi sealt, päris julm oli ikka ilusad jäiga vedrustusega autod, stardist finisisse külg ees... pealtvaadata on hea, seal need areenid kohe raja ümber, inimesed istuvad ilusti kõik pinkidel ja ei seisa püsti nagu tavaliselt juhtub... ainult et latte läheb seal kõvasti, eriti kui saslõkki tahad aga eks Ilmar ka paneb sõna sekka, ta filmis selle ürituse korralikult peale

Bikernieki trip:

Laupäval(18 augustil) kell 10:30 võtsime suuna Riia peale, ei mäleta kahjuks mis kell oli kui kohale jõudsime aga laupäevane päev olid seal treeningud ja lihtsalt selline harjutamine.
Esimese päeva pilet nagu kirjaski 3.50 lati. Autoga saime ilusti territooriumile ning telkimisala oli sealsamas.
Pealtvaatajaid esimesel päeval eriti ei olnud. Mõlema päeva peale kokku ei näinud ega kuulnud ühestki teisest eestlasest peale oma seltskonna(kahju).
Kuna me telkisime seal alal sees siis järgmine hommik olime sees ning pääsesime ka kuidagi teisepäeva piletist, mis pidi olema 6.50 lati.
Kell pool 2 hakkasid harjutamised ja umbs kolmeajal lasti sisse rahvamass.
Nagu lem mainis oli üritus VÄGA lahe.
Autode käsitlemine oli väga hea, ka väga ekstreemsetes olukordades(Tandem Battle oli väga hea).
Püüan nädalajooksul kokku keerutada ühe video mõlemast päevast.
Ilm oli hea ja üritus vinge mida muud enam tahta.

Tänud Ainile et teema postitas ja teel läti püüdis aidata meil see õige koht üles leida(mingi jama oli siiski selle nriga mis sa saatsid).

Järgmise korrani loodame, et huvilisi siis juba rohkem.

Endalgi oli plaan sellest üritusest osa võtta, aga kahjuks ajapuuduse tõttu ei tulnud välja.
Eks üritame järgmine kord jälle

Track is not far from road whitch comes from TLL - Riga, but don't have to turn to Riga. Must go straight - to city Salaspils side There are everywhere signs.
Cossroad where have to turn is where You can see "Līči", but to opposite side...
