Kas E36 sedaanide 325, 320,318 käigukastid sobivad E36 318 IS coupe'le alla, oskab keegi nõu anda?

Konkreetselt sedaani ja kupee kastide vahel küll erinevust pole, asi läheks liiga kirjuks ära. Iseasi on R6 kasti sobivus R4 otsa, seda peab küll täpsemalt uurima. Väidetavalt on E36 kastid siiski omavahel vahetatavad.

"The E36 has two kinds of transmissions for their engines, Getrag and ZF. The Getrag unit was used in 318s, 325s, and z3 1.9s. The ZF units have been matched up with the engines found in the M3, 328,and 6cyl z3s. The ZF transmission can be used in a chassis originally equipped with the Getrag unit but will require its shifter assembly and possibly a changeover for the driveshaft. Getrag units usually mate with a 4bolt driveshaft while ZF units came with either the 4bolt or the 6bolt unit driveshafts. Differentials used with the 318ti and z3 came with 4bolt flanges, so you will need to change one or the other to match if not originally equipped with the 4bolt end."
